Sic Bo rules
Sic-Bo is a very simple Asian dice game; the name means "dice
pair" which refers to some of the bets. Despite the dice pair
name it is played with three regular casino dice. Players bet on
different dice combinations, the different bets are outlined on
the Sic-Bo table. So all you do is guess the next outcome bet on
it and hope to win, much like roulette.
Playing the game
Players place their bets on the table trying to predict the next
outcome for the three dice. Multiple bets are accepted, the payoff
are indicated with the bets on the game board. For example a 6:1
payoff on a $10 bet means you get $60 if you win and your original
bet is returned as well.
There are eight different bets in Sic-Bo with many variations,
they are:
- Single bet - located on the bottom of the table felt. Bet on
any single number from one to six. Payoff depends on how many
of the three dice end up with your number. One correct dice pays
1:1(even money); two will pay 2:1 odds and three 3:1
- Two dice bet - located above the single dice bets. Bet on any
two dice combinations there are fifteen different combinations/bets.
The payoff is always 6:1 as long as your combination comes up
it doesn’t matter what the third dice end up as.
- Three dice total - specified on the felt as numbers ranging
from four to seventeen. Bet on any of those numbers and if the
three dice together end on that total you win. Payoff depends
on what number you bet; the odds are specified on the felt ranging
from 6:1 to 50:1.
- Small and Big (two bets) - these two bets can be located at
the top of the felt at either side. Small means you bet that the
outcome of the dice will total between 4 and 10 and if you bet
on Big that the outcome of the roll will total 11-17. These two
bets pay even money. If a triple is rolled (three of a kind) all
bets lose.
- Triple bet - you are betting that all three faces will come
up with a specific number. Payoff is the highest in Sic-Bo ranging
from 120:1 to 150:1.
- Three of a kind - bet on any three of a kind. Payoff is 24:1.
- Pair - bet on any pair. Payoff is 8:1.
